Knife with Curved Horn Handle by Werkstätte Carl Auböck
Austria - 1960s
Knife with polished steel blade and naturally curved horn handle. The grip follows the organic shape of the horn, creating a comfortable hold while giving the knife a strong sculptural appearance. A simple metal ferrule connects blade and handle, typical of traditional Central European workshop production.
The contrast between smooth steel and the textured horn, with its natural light and dark pattern, gives the piece a rustic yet refined character. Light wear and sharpening marks consistent with age and use.
