Rare Oak Jens Risom Set of six Webbed Knoll Chairs in Leather Webbing
France, 1950s
A rare set of six French dining chairs from the 1950s, composed of four side chairs and two chairs with armrests. The solid wooden frames show a clear architectural structure, with open backs, angled legs and finely proportioned armrests.
The set has been fully restored and reglued, with new leather webbing made in the same type of natural leather originally used for these chairs in France during the period.
The two armchairs measure 52 cm in depth and 54 cm in width. Restored condition with natural signs of age to the wooden frames.
