Set of six handwoven straw coasters with matching brass stand. The coasters are made from tightly braided natural fiber arranged in a spiral pattern, each with a small open center detail. The curved brass holder keeps the coasters upright and adds a contrasting modernist element to the otherwise rustic material. Such sets were commonly used for glasses or cups and were designed to be both practical and decorative on the table. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
