Magazine rack by Werkstätte Carl Auböck, made of bent brass rods with suspended hand-stitched leather sling. The warm brown leather pocket is held within a sculptural brass frame with arched handle, combining functional design with the material-driven aesthetic typical of the Auböck workshop. The contrast between patinated brass and thick natural leather is characteristic of Auböck designs from the 1950s–1960s, where everyday household objects were reduced to clear geometric forms while retaining a handcrafted quality. Beautiful vintage condition with natural patina to brass and wear to the leather consistent with age and use.
