Glass Vase with Leather Collar by Werkstätte Carl Auböck

Sculptural glass vase by Werkstätte Carl Auböck, with wide flattened body and cylindrical neck wrapped in hand-stitched black leather. The contrast between clear blown glass and the textured leather collar is characteristic of the Auböck workshop, where simple forms were refined through the use of natural materials. There is an identical matching vase available as shown in the last pictures. Good vintage condition with natural patina to the leather and light wear to the glass consistent with age and use.
