Coffee table by Guglielmo Ulrich with polished onyx top

Rare Italian coffee table by Guglielmo Ulrich. The base has tapered wooden legs ending in cast brass feet. The tabletop is made of richly patterned onyx. It features organic swirls in black, cream, beige, and caramel tones. The surface has a glossy, polished finish. Each section of the stone shows unique, cloud-like formations. Its irregular veining gives it a vivid, almost painterly quality. A strong example of mid-century Italian design. Vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
