Early S 11 Wood Chair by Pierre Chapo

Here we are offering are rare early Chapo S11 chair with a beautiful patina upholstered with new leather. Over time, the currently very light color will naturally darken. This chair contains no glue or metal parts; as a result, they are slightly flexible and extremely sturdy. The seat and backrest are made of full grain leather. The seat’s technical complexity is balanced by its clean look and practical use. The solid S 11 is regarded as Pierre Chapo’s first sculptural chair, a direction he continued to explore in later designs.
