Woodwork at the Triesch Residence
Now the more detailed part has begun. Bernd Rottkord from Bau- und Möbeltischlerei Rottkord GmbH and his guys started to sand the diamond and does also add the missing pieces for this very detailed house. The fixed glass and clear story glasses are framed by the beautiful Iroko wood and it was my job to paint all the wood. Here are some shots of the Iroko and how everything is coming along. I am more than happy about the quality. But here you can see yourself what these masters in wood are capable of.
Moulding the Iroko Window Details
Our first choice for all the wood finishes was the Canadian Brand Sansin. Their consulting and service was absolute excellent. We used Sansin in the first place for their experience with Redwood. That's a knowledge that is hard to find in Germany. These are the beautiful finishes we used on our different wood species.

I am glad my 76 year old dad Adam is also still able to support me with a long-life experience of painting.
