Denmark - 1960

Aksel Kjersgaard Chest of Drawers, Denmark - 1960s. Both a designer and a manufacturer, Aksel Kjersgaard created and produced furniture at the height of the Danish mid-century modern movement. In 1952, after working and travelling through Europe and Morocco, Kjersgaard returned to Denmark and established his eponymous production company. Kjersgaard's designs often showcased a blend of modernism and traditional craftsmanship. He was particularly recognised for his use of high-quality materials like teak wood, which he incorporated into his designs. His furniture pieces were characterised by clean lines, minimalist aesthetics, and a focus on functionality. We have three pcs in stock right now if you are interested.
