Building a Ray Kappe Staircase

My buddy Christian Schaden of Schaden und Saur from Oberfell at the beautiful Mosel is building this beautiful Staircase. Ray used this design in some of his houses. For sure at the Keeler and the Katzenstein Residence. The old growth Doug Fir that we found in Canada and Christians Craftsmanship is making a great combo. Can't wait to see this beauty in place. Here are also some photos that I took in 2018 when I was filming in Los Angeles with Marian Engel of Optical Flow. We had a wonderful dinner with Ron Kappe and Anne Keeler at Ann's masterpiece house as you can see on the last photo.
