Developing a garden can be a challenging but rewarding experience. It requires careful planning, attention to detail, and a willingness to work hard to create a beautiful and functional outdoor space. In the case of the Ray Kappe House garden, the landscape plan was created by Richard Grigsby, and Norifumi Nishioka reworked the plant list to make things work in Kleinmachnow. The project was brought to fruition with the help of Baumschule Bruns and Oase, who delivered the plants, grasses, and trees and provided the necessary plumbing and pumps for the creek bed and waterfall.

The Ray Kappe garden is a testament to the power of collaboration. Richard Grigsby's landscape plan set the groundwork for the project, laying out the basic design and identifying key features such as the creek bed and waterfall. Norifumi Nishioka's expertise as a Japanese gardener was then brought to bear, as he reworked the plant list to ensure that the garden would thrive in its new environment in Kleinmachnow. By combining their skills and knowledge, Grigsby and Nishioka were able to create a cohesive and harmonious landscape that respects both the natural surroundings and the inspiration of Japanese garden design.

The role of Baumschule Bruns in the project cannot be overstated. As a supplier of high-quality plants, grasses, and trees, they were instrumental in bringing the garden to life. With their extensive inventory and expert advice, they were able to provide the right plants for every part of the garden, from the shaded areas near the creek bed to the sun-drenched open spaces where the trees could grow tall and strong.

Finally, Oase played a critical role in bringing the creek bed and waterfall to life. Their plumbing and pump systems were essential for creating the flowing water that adds so much to the garden's beauty and tranquility. Without their expertise and equipment, the creek bed and waterfall would have remained just an idea on paper.

In conclusion, the development of the Ray Kappe garden was a collaborative effort that brought together the skills and expertise of many different individuals and companies. From the landscape plan to the plant selection to the installation of the creek bed and waterfall, each contributor played a vital role in creating a beautiful and functional outdoor space. The result is a garden that honors its natural surroundings and embodies the principles of Japanese garden design, while also providing a peaceful and inspiring retreat for all who visit it.
