The Hardwood Floor in the Triesch Residence

When I was visiting the Ray Kappe Residence I really liked the red oak flooring in the living and bed rooms. I was all the more astonished to see that the 1.5'' strips in long lengths was not available anywhere in Europe. Glad that I was introduced to Carsten Hellmuth of Surco from Bilbao through a friend of mine. Carsten is an old hand in the flooring business with a lot of experience. Surco could fulfill all our wishes and the result of our collaboration led into a fantastic Product that will be soon available at Original In Berlin. The Ray Kappe Red Oak Floor. Shaine Quiroz of Livingboden did very much enjoy to work with this material. Livingboden will also Partner with us to install the Ray Kappe Floor european wide! The depth and richness of this floor came out after Shaine glued the floor with Bona Quantum T and sanded the floor three times with 80/100/120 grid we finished it off with the Bona Craft Oil twice. The floor is all clear without knots and sap wood.
